Research Overview:
We are a group at a unique crossroads of chemistry. Our methods, instrumentation, and data analysis involve elements of physical, analytical, and biological chemistry. Our approach is to combine the chemical sensitivity of vibrational spectroscopy with microscopy to investigate heterogeneous chemical systems. The ability to spatially resolve spectra allows us to probe unique facets of different systems that are otherwise not accessible by conventional spectroscopy.
