We are a group of physical and analytical chemists who apply spatially resolved vibrational spectroscopy and imaging to a wide range of problems in chemistry, materials science and biophysics. Our approach combines vibrational spectroscopy with different imaging modalities, which lets us investigate structurally and chemically heterogeneous systems. We use spectroscopic imaging to probe defects in metal-organic frameworks, structural variations in biocondensates, chemistry of self-assembled monolayers, nanoscale structure of individual protein aggregates, and the composition of amyloid plaques in Alzheimer's disease tissues.
